As time passes the sunrays could cause damage to car dashboards. It is important to protect it with a cover on top. It could be some kind of soft dark color carpet, or other material. Becareful of not using too high tone clear clashing colors. It could cause light reflection and distract the car driver.
On the contrary you could find them ready to purchase at a spare parts store.
I have made this cover tailormade because I have dibe several ‘relief cuts’ to give a more accurate shape. The sunray would take charge of giving the shape everyday.
It could be done without those cuts and just cut it out and place it over.
‘Soft stationery cardboard or used newspaper’ could be useful to get the molds.
