Current priority of the country is to establish disease eradication program for COVID-2019. Strong need to explore alternate technology products for control of COVID-2019 infection . Hydroxychloroquine and Remdesivir have been approved for treatment of COVID-2019 infection globally including India. These drugs are Zinc ionophores which increase cellular Zinc conc that inhibits RNA dependent RNA polymerase (RDRP) but these drugs has inherent toxicity such as liver, ocular and cardiac implications. We can achive the goal of increase intracellular Zinc concentration by different technologies as EGCG & Quercetin Phytosome delivery mechanism to facilitate Zinc inside the cells as well as increase absorption of Zinc by cells Yasada Bhasma. EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate) is found in green tea, Quercetin is found in grape seed which are proven Zinc Ionophore and shows exactly same activity as Chloroquine / Hydroxychloroquine.
